Farbenmix!

***Yes I discovered the tape on her legs AFTER the pictures! Oh the child!***

Oh how I LOVE Farbenmix patterns! They have the best selection of funky, cute, fresh style for little girls. They always have swoopy lines and whimsical touches. What is not to love about FARBENMIX!? Okay so half the patterns, probably more than half are still not in English, but that's okay! All their patterns (at least the ones I have sewn) have online tutorials that you can bring up in Google Chrome, have it translated and then follow the translated pictorial tutorial! It even includes HUMOR! Okay so the Google translator is not trying to be humorous but some of the translated words will have coffee spewing out your nose. So proceed with caution and don't say I didn't warn you! Those tutorials rock!

So this is the Nala pattern. My copy is not in English but I didn't even pull up the tutorial. With so few pieces I really didn't need a tutorial. I could make this outfit in my sleep and I am sure you could too! Oh I added the bow at the top, that's not in the pattern. If you need help making one, let me know.

I really like the individual pieces. My daughter is tall so I don't know if the shirt is suppose to be that short.  I will definitely make the next one longer, as this doesn't cover her backside and I just want it to last a little longer.

You can find everything at Banberry Place. Well I am not sure about the knits, I don't see them, but email Corie just to be sure.  She has a LOT of knit to choose from so no worries if these are not there, you will undoubtedly find some amazing prints you cannot live without. The knits are domestic, they were both really easy to work with, no stretching issues. The polka dot is really, really nice. It has a great feel to it. Those roses on black are really lovely. I don't normally put my daughter in black, at least not often, but I thought the roses made this fabric very sweet. I think it would be a great print for adults too.

My blogger is acting weird so I cannot preview to check the contents of this post. So forgive my post if it is wonkier than usual!

  1. Love the flirty sleeves! The black is a classy background, with all the pink it certainly doesn't read black. Love to Kelsey... and besides your nice work...wow, your grass looks great after our recent rain!

  2. I love the Nala pattern, too! I made it about 2 years ago for my younger daughter and she loves it. She's outgrown now, and is requesting another one. She calls it her acrobat outfit, but I have no idea why. I love the rose print for the top.

  3. I love this top! Knits are on my list for the fall, if we can get "fall" in south Texas. I also love the tape! I never know what my daughter will do when I take pictures. It will make great memories.
