Lucy Loo!

The new Sis Boom Lucy pattern  is coming soon! It can be a top or a maxi dress, you pick the length. Made for having brunch by your neighbor's pool(my neighbor makes the BEST salmon spread!) while the kids are at school or toss it over your swimsuit after a refreshing swim(or if you are me boogie board adventure) in the ocean. Wear it alone or with a tank, cute cap sleeve tee, shrug, or sweater. This is a versatile pattern that can be made and worn for so many different occasions.

As for fit YOU control the top. It doesn't control you. You pick your dress size AND top size and coverage right down to the letter(s) on your bra. No kidding. You cannot get any more tailored made for you in a pattern than this one. Wardrobe malfunction days are GONE for this style girls! Don't ever buy one off the rack again, buy the pattern and make this one instead. It will be a much better fit with better coverage that doesn't leave you the conversation piece of the brunch. If they were handing out fit awards for patterns, Carla would be the recipient for this one. Great fit work Carla!

Need the little girl's version? Girl's World by Jennifer Paganelli. Find it in Hobby Lobby or on Amazon.com.

Oh but even better, buy a copy of Girl's World from Martha Pullen online and Jennifer will send you a yard of Girl's World Vibe. How's that for a deal??? Girl's World Vibe is seen above in my modified version of the Girl's World dress. The dress is not that low cut, the tie was too loose as she had just pulled it on over her head without untying it first.

So don't get caught dilly dallying smelling the roses and morning glories!

Go get your Girl's World book and stalk Jennifer Paganelli and Carla Hegeman Crim till the Lucy pattern is released! Oh and let your girlfriend with the pool know that you are having brunch at her place very very soon. Perhaps you could bring the napkins and table cloth from Jennifer's latest book Happy Home.
Tell her Jenny sent you. =D After all Jennifer Paganelli always said I was trouble. Hahaha! Love you Jen!

    1. Cindy it is the typical halter back. But really because you make the top your bra size it shouldn't gape and it's doubled layered so it's pretty thick in the front too that you don't really need a bra. I cannot speak for everyone of every size and shape but that was what I found. If the front thickness, as far as being see through without a bra, were still a concern you could add a very thin layer of batting or even just some muslin as a third layer to ensure coverage. Or if you are wearing a tee under it of any kind then you can wear your bra no problem!

    1. I love the belted cardy idea Zura! I wore a cardigan with it tonight when it got cooler outside(which made it cooler inside.) But when my neighbor, the one with the pool and salmon dip, took my picture it was blazing hot! Maxi length would be so pretty!
