I have plans for that flower she is holding. Tissue paper flowers have been a part of our lives for years. We have a citywide celebration in the spring where the kids make these every year. After seeing them on Jennifer's blog for a very long time and after seeing the most amazing Valentine's box covered in these flowers I have ever seen a child make(my best friends daughter's box. She super talented), I came up with an idea on how I can use these. Can't wait for you to see.
This is the Talullah dress in Crazy Love Cecelia in pink. Another good dress for pulling on over a swim suit. Mommy's jewelry is totally a required post swimming accessory. (You know we live in the water in the summer right? We really do.) Oh gosh I love this print. I am not the only one...
The Girl's World Vibe dress in the previous post went to my daughter's best friend. She wasn't up for the photo shoot so my daughter stepped in and wore the dress for her. Her friend forgot to take her dress home with her that day. When she came over the next day the Talullah and the Leighanna were both on my kitchen counter. She saw them and she said "Oh I forgot my dress!" I told her to go ahead and take it. As she pulled it off the counter she saw the other dress on top, looked at me timidly and asked "Can I have the pink dress too?" So now I am making another one of these because both the girls love the dress in THAT fabric. Cannot be another, believe me I asked. Jennifer Paganelli has yet another young fan.
Okay I have MORE Crazy Love to sew up. I cannot wait for you to see! I am going to modify one of the Sis Boom patterns, I hope it turns out, it's cute in my head anyway! Haha! I have some Riley Blake trims that work so well with the Crazy Love prints you are gonna be searching the internet for a vendor. AND I have some NEW Patty Young Lush I am dying for you to see. I have had it for a while, and I have some cute little shorts cut out of the running stitch print. I just need to find the right fabric for the pockets so I can put it all together. Working on it! Woot woot!

You are back in your sewing groove! Nothing like a little Crazy Love to inspire.
ReplyDeleteAll gorgeous, as usual! I did by the girls world book recently and can't wait for warmer weather to make the Talullah. (Of course, we had 2 90 degree days last week before dropping back to the 50/60's, so I don't think I will have to wait much longer...)
